Took my Dad to First Ave.

Next to the Stars. I swear, Ween was a random choice.
I can't even recall how many concerts I've attended at First Avenue. From Coldplay and the White Stripes to Death Cab for Cutie and Chvrches, I've been there more than a few times. It was nice to take my Dad to see his favorite band at my favorite place to see a show.

Stranger Things 2 Blu-ray finally coming

Target Ad Nov. 3, 2018
I picked up the first season of Stranger Things on Blu-ray from Target last Black Friday. I had only started watching the show on Netflix a few months early and fell instantly in love with the series. When the second season was released on Netflix I binged it within a few days.

It seemed like the second season wouldn't make its way to Blu-ray, let alone in the same kind of cool retro VHS case the first season was released.

While flipping through the Target ad this week I noticed the second season is included for release later this week. If you're like me, this was exciting news.

A blank slate

Target Blu-Ray Cover
I've been wanting to publish a blog again for a few years now but a lack of time and energy has made it challenging to move forward. Last night, I decided to take the plunge.

This blog will have somewhat of a focus, but a loose one. Essays on music, reviews of movies, thoughts on video games and technology; if there is a topic that tickles my fancy, I'm going to write about it here.

Don't expect the most current topics. You might read thoughts on 10 year old video games for the Nintendo Wii or a review of the latest Star Wars movie. I don't plan on making this a comprehensive look at the topics, but more a snap shot of my thoughts.

I'm going to try to create a schedule for when things get published, but for now I'm going to work on building up some content. I have ideas in mind for posts so keep an eye on this space for more. This blog post here will likely self destruct after a period of time.
